Our kitten loves these! We wanted a durable toy that was large enough for her to kick, and she loves these! It’s her favorite toy to play with, and she picks it up and takes it all around the house. Very durable, great value for money, and would 100% recommend these toys.

Tips/ Tricks
- Not all cats respond to catnip, do not be discouraged. It is recommend owners know if their cat will enjoy catnip ahead of purchasing.
- It is recommended you trim your cat's nails regularly to extend the longevity of our toys. These are soft cotton fabrics and we cannot guarantee all cat's nail will not rip or tear the cotton fabric. Sharp or untrimmed nails will breakdown our toys.
- To maintain the strong catnip scent, it is recommended to re-seal the catnip kicker in a zip-lock bag for extended use.
- Care/Use: Massage toy before playtime, to release catnip buds aroma. Supervise cat when playing with this toy.
- Do not allow cat to eat the stuffing if they rip the fabric. Do not machine wash toys, only wipe down.
- When toy is not in use, reseal in a zip bag and store it in the freezer to conserve the catnip freshness.
Reaction with Cats
This is a pet (cat) product. It has been played with by thousands of cat’s, but due to us not knowing how to communicate with a cat, we can’t guarantee it will work on all cats. We love cats and try our best, but will not accept a return if you cat doesn’t decide to play with it. We have fixed costs and labor that need to be cover. Every toy, in every video, is made the exact same each time one is created.
All videos and photos of cats playing with the Kitty Kick Stix are actual Cat Customers and not paid celebrities.
Each one is handmade and cats may react differently to this toy, therefore please make sure your cat does enjoy catnip as the toys can’t be returned.
Cats may become aggressive due to the cat nip scent and we cannot guarantee the strength of material with all cats. It is recommended all pets are supervised with the use of any pet toy, not just ours.
The smell is so STRONG my cat is STONED. Just like with ANY toy or ANY pet product, ANY pet should be supervised.
We are a family owned business and take time to handmake each one. We use ultra-potent catnip and mix it throughout the stix. Our catnip is grown in the USA and never sits out for more than 3 days – some of the strongest available. If you cat does have a reaction or becomes stoned, take the toy away, provide some water to your cat and turn on the TV. Your cat may need to take a ‘catnap’ for a bit before playing again.

Catnip, scientifically known as Nepeta cataria, is a herbaceous plant that belongs to the mint family (Lamiaceae). It is native to Europe and Asia, but it has become widespread and is now found in many regions around the world. Catnip is well-known for its effects on cats, as many cats exhibit a strong attraction to the plant.
The active compound responsible for the catnip's effects on cats is called nepetalactone. When cats come into contact with catnip, whether by smelling, licking, or rolling on it, they may exhibit various behaviors such as sniffing, licking, rubbing, rolling, and even hyperactive playfulness. These reactions typically last for about 10 to 15 minutes, after which the cat may lose interest. Not all cats are affected by catnip, as sensitivity to it is hereditary and not all cats possess the gene that makes them responsive to nepetalactone.
Catnip is safe for cats and is often used as a form of enrichment or as a training aid. Some cat toys are infused with catnip to encourage play. In addition to its effects on cats, catnip has been used in traditional medicine for humans to make herbal teas with mild sedative properties.
When cats come into contact with catnip, whether by smelling, licking, or rubbing against it, the nepetalactone binds to receptors in their nasal tissue, which then stimulates sensory neurons in the cat's olfactory epithelium. This stimulation leads to a variety of behaviors that are often associated with pleasure and play.
The exact mechanism by which nepetalactone affects cats is not fully understood, but it is believed to mimic feline pheromones, specifically those related to mating behaviors. In the wild, such scents may signal the presence of a potential mate or mark territory, so cats may be naturally drawn to catnip due to these instincts.
It's important to note that not all cats are affected by catnip, as sensitivity to it is inherited and not all cats possess the gene that makes them responsive to nepetalactone. Sensitivity to catnip is hereditary and is not related to a cat's age or gender. Additionally, after exposure to catnip, there is a refractory period during which a cat may not respond to catnip again until some time has passed. The effects of catnip are generally harmless, and it is considered a safe and enjoyable enrichment for many cats.

Great cat toy. Mom approved.
Holds up great with 2 kittens, 6 months old, playing a lot with them. They love them! Will buy again.
My cats love these toys. One cat carries them all down stairs every day and upstairs every night. It’s so cute!!
My cats absolutely love these fish. They immediately started playing with them and quickly became their favorite toys
I have never seen them react to toys like this before! My cats are mature and don't play so much any more ... Until today.
Happy with the purchase. Just hoping they have it in bigger size.
My cat loved it!!
These were a hit right out of the package!

Great size.
My two cats immediately picked out their favorites and are constantly playing with them!
They are awesome 👌
My cat loved playing with the tiny mice toys but she'd get them stuck under the fridge or oven all the time. So I was searching for bigger toys that wouldn't get lost so easily and wouldnt fall apart after minimal use. Thank God I found these because she loves them more than the mice and even my small dog likes to play with them. They are very durable and haven't torn at all, highly recommend!
She absolutely loves the cat nip in these she has de-stuffed all of them and still Carrie’s around their carcasses, and plays with them. These have held up so well over the past year!
Can't speak to their durability just yet but I can say that they became an immediate favorite. Even our one cat who doesn't care much about catnip was losing his mind over these. The long shape makes it easy for them to grab and kick the fish while they're in a frenetic haze of nip.
Bought these for my cat and she went crazy for them. Realistic looking and good size for cat to hold and kick .
My cat is 20 lbs and I’ve been trying to find a toy to stimulate him and make him more active. Well this is it! He immediately pounced on it and bunny kicked it and went stir crazy. My other cat however turned up her nose at it and walked away. But you can’t please them all. It’s well worth a try!
The I have two cats. My old man claimed the sardine. Little girl gets the other three. I can't get them to sit still long enough for a good picture. Godzilla loves them too!

My kitten loves these! He always has one in his mouth carrying it around. He plays with them roughly and they have lasted and haven't torn at all. They are the perfect size for him. I plan on buying more because he hides them all over the house.
My cat loves them a lot. They are huge, but still light to drag them from room to room. They are also of a good quality, my cat has been playing with them for several weeks, and none of them got torn.

My cats loved it, as soon as I took it out of the package they dove into them.
For some reason when I bought these, I thought they were the type that flop around. They’re not. I didn’t know if my cats would like them cause to me they seemed kind of boring but they do enjoy them. These are great training toys for if your cat gets playful and starts kicking at your arm or hand or some object you don’t want them to with their back legs. Replace whatever they’re kicking with this toy and they’ll kick that instead and learn what’s appropriate to play with. 👍🏼
My cat Nimshi took to this toy immediately. It was a big hit. He started throwing it in the air, and catching it, then kicking it with his hind legs. Best buy for the money!!
My cat likes them very much and they have great durability.
Love this fish!! My cat brings them to me and plays fetch...yes my cat 😍🥰
My cat loves them!
I bought these fish for a party game for my grandchildren. Afterward, I planned to give them all to my niece's cat. The children loved the fish so much, they took most of them home. The cat loved the one that he got -- perfect for a vigorous tussle, kicking and biting!
My cats absolutely love these stuffed fish. They have a vibrant print and are somewhat realistic looking. They hold up well with my two cats clawing and chewing them.
Were fish enthusiast and these added some fun around here even though we do not have a cat my dog and kids love these. We like the way they smell lol
Kittens have been playing with them for the past 3 months, they have held up to rough playing and kicking.they are a good size for larger kittens/cats, but not too heavy for 2 month olds to play with
Cat loved the toys!
Enough in package to make three cats very happy. These are fun for them and fun to watch the cats get silly on catnip!
My cats love these fish. The dogs like them too...
My little kitten just loves playing with these toys. Its adorable to watch. I highly recommend these fishes! She bunny kicks them a lot, I havent noticed any tearing yet! I recommend others to buy if they are even thinking about it!
They are lots of fun
Our Pug likes them as much as the kitten and they are all still in one piece.
Our furry kids can't get enough of these fish! Ordered one package and gave a couple away, then reordered 3 more packages due to the reaction. All our family members have pet households and two of us take in strays. All cats are indoor/outdoor as we're out in the burbs or rural areas, so the pets get play and hunting opportunities, but all have enjoyed these fish. Some cats have played for a few days then left them more alone - not all cats are players and they do get time outside - but all fish are getting good use from someone. Several of the cats even tried to bite through the unopened packages to get to the fish. They are brilliantly colored so easy to see on the floor. The slender fish are good for the smaller cats and kittens, while the larger fish are perfect kick toys for the bigger guys. Even the older cats became frisky with these toys. So glad we got these - an easy investment in nurturing the play and hunt instincts that cats need to exercise.
My friends cat loves it
When i first opened the package I was weirdly concerned the fish were too big. But then my cat caught sight of them & spent the next hr licking & rolling around with them. Very happy with my purchase & I hope they hold up but only time will tell.
My cat loves these! Plays with them all day. He likes to chew on them and flip them in the air to chase them. They only seem to last me a month per fish because my cat chews on them and takes the stuffing out.
